Baritone Ochirsaikhan Erdenee (Mongolia) assured the opportunity to compete in the Final round by participating in the II International Virgilijus Noreika Competition in 2020 Ochirsaikhan was born in Mongolia in 1993. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Music and Dance College where he studied under the Honoured and People’s Artist Kh. Urtnasan when he entered the College in 2010. He continued his studies under the guidance of many legendary teachers, such as the State Honoured Artist B. Damdinsuren and the Best Cultural Worker of Japan-Mongolia Friendship Okuyama Yumi in 2012, and completed the College under the State Honoured Artist Kh. Unenkhuu in 2014. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Arts and Culture under the State Honoured Artist B. Erdenetuya. He has successfully participated in several international and national competitions, winning first, second, and third prizes in the following competitions: The Young Opera Singers’ Competition in Tolyatti, Russia, 2013 The Competition in Honour of the Soviet People’s Artist L. L. Linkhovoin, Russia - 2nd prize Grand Prix at the International Opera Singer’s Competition Bella Voce, Moscow, 2018 Ningbo international competition 2018 top 5 singer/finalist/ He has also performed in various concerts, including: La Cenerentola Opera Project, Rome, Italy, 2015 Gala concerts in Seoul, Taegu, and Taejon, Korea “Il ponte” opera project in Italy in six cities opera “La Traviata” singing the role of Giorgio Germont His opera parts include: J. Strauss “Die fledermaus” - Dr. Falke P. Tchaikovsky “Eugene Onegin” - Onegin G. Verdi “La traviata” - Giorgio Germont.
