Roko Radovan graduated music high school as a trumpet player in Dubrovnik. He has already achieved a Grand Prix of the Russian Romance Competition in Ljubljana, followed by the first prizes at the Vera Kovač Vitkai and Lav Mirski international competition, as well as double first prizes at the Croatian National Competition. His operatic debut was Music Academy's 100th anniversary opera project, Igor Kuljerić Animal Farm, followed with the role of Eduardo (La cambiale di matrimonio). He also performed some smaller roles in Die Zauberflöte, Il Trovatore, Madame Butterfly, and recently the role of Alfred in Die Fledermaus. He performed recitals, heritage programs, and Croatian Oratorios in London, Vienna, Berlin, Zürich, Bern, and Dublin. He was also the head of the multi-award winning a capella ensembles, for which he writes and composes traditional vocal music that has been part of the Porin winner's album twice. He actively composes for small chamber ensembles as well, mainly for vocal. Among the conductors with whom he performed are Tomislav Facini, Robert Farkas, Holger Speck, Marc Tardue, Vinzenz Weissenburger, Christoph Campestrini, and Pier Giorgio Morandi. Roko is currently on the undergraduate studies at the Academy of Music Zagreb in the class of professor Martina Gojčeta Silić.
