Soprano Felicity Förster currently is pursuing a Master’s degree in Opera singing at Mannheim Academy of Music and Performing Arts with Snezana Stamenkovic. Master classes with Klesie Kelly, Sybilla Rubens, Jean-Noel Briend, Irene Kudela, Catherine Foster Rudolf Piernay, Olaf Bär and Karl-Peter Kammerlander have further aided to polish her skills. Förster has performed in a production of Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” at Staatstheater Wiesbaden, “Reigen” (P. Boesmans, Nationaltheater Mannheim) and Dido in “Dido and Aeneas”. Art Song constitutes an important part of her repertoire as well. During her art song studies with David Santos she has performed at several festivals in Germany. She is finalist and prize winner of several international competitions and is scholarship holder of the Richard Wagner Verband.
