While at Towson University, she discovered her affinity and potential for the operatic stage. Ms. Elson continued her studies at Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where she went on to earn a Master of Music degree in Classical Voice Performance. She performed several complete roles and many opera scenes while studying with the world class faculty at the prestigious conservatory, including the role of Donna Anna in Mozart's "Don Giovanni" and Gretel in Humperdinck's masterpiece, "Hänsel und Gretel".
