Australian Soprano Jessica Harper holds a Postgraduate Concert Soloist Diploma (Summa cum laude) at the Royal Conservatoire of Antwerp, and a Bachelor of Music with first class honours from the Australian National University. Jessica made her debut at the Semperoper Dresden in September 2022 as a principal soloist in the new opera Chasing Waterfalls. Other operatic works include creating the title role in new Australian work Miss Brill, Donna Anna (Don Giovanni), Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus), Casilda (The Gondoliers) and Mrs Norris (Mansfield Park – Australian Premiere). She was a Young Artist with Pacific Opera (2014, 2015) and held the Dame Nellie Melba Scholarship with the Melba Opera Trust for 2018. Jessica completed the Accademia del Bel Canto Rodolfo Celletti in Italy (2018), and the AIMS Summer School in Austria (2019). Jessica has made her mark on the Australian competition circuit including awards from the Opera Foundation for young Australians, Herald Sun Aria and Sydney Eisteddfod. Internationally Jessica has represented Australia as a semi finalist in the Glyndebourne Opera Cup (2020), the Tenor Viñas Competition (2021) and the Éva Marton Competition (2021)
