Bass-baritone

British bass-baritone Ossian Huskinson is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was a Bicentenary Scholar, studying with Mark Wildman and Iain Ledingham. He then went on to join the English National Opera, and is currently part of their esteemed Harewood Young Artist Programme. Previous roles have included King René (Iolanta), Philosophe (Chérubin), and Bottom (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) with Royal Academy Opera; Zaretsky (Eugene Onegin) and Plutone (Orfeo) with Garsington Opera, as well as Harashta (Cunning Little Vixen) and Sciarrone (Tosca) with English National Opera. He recently made his international debut with Deutsche Oper Berlin, where he has sung Ufficiale (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Jailer (Tosca) and Pietro (Simon Boccanegra). Ossian was 1st Prize and Audience Prize winner of Clonter Opera competition in 2021, and was a final round participant for the Neue-Stimmen competition 2022.
