Goar Akopyan was born on February 28, 1990 in Yerevan, Armenia. From 2006 to 2010 she studied at the Rachmaninov Kaliningrad College of Music (Class of the Honored Artist of Russia Galina Mizina). From 2010 to 2016 she studied at the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, in the class of Professor Nelli Pirumova. She graduated from the Conservatory with honors. She studied at the Theater Studio "Stop" (Kaliningrad) under the guidance of the Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation B. I. Beinenson, and also professionally danced at the Ballet Studio "Antares" (Kaliningrad) - choreographer, Master of Sports of Russia Oksana Grishina. Goar Akopyan is a laureate of international vocal competitions. She took first place in the "Nightingale" competition (Russia, Kaliningrad). She is a laureate of the international competition "Amber Star", which was also held in Kaliningrad. In 2016 became the laureate of the International Festival “Veracnund” (Revival) in Armenia. In 2018, she became the 1st Prize Laureate of the Global Fest. She has collaborated and performed with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of conductor Eduard Topchjan, with the Presidential Orchestra of Belarus under the direction of conductor Vitaly Kulbakov and other ensembles, as well as with leading musicians of Belarus and Armenia. She is currently leading an active solo career. In 2017, Goar Akopyan's first solo concert entitled “Music of the Soul” took place in Minsk and was sold out. At the beginning of 2018, with the suggestion from the artistic director of the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society, the singer's second solo concert took place. On December 14, 2018 the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall hosted a largescale concert dedicated to the 40th anniversary of the composer Narine Zarifyan. During the concert Goar performed her song entitled “The Pray” with the Armenian National Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2021, she performed a solo concert entitled "... Holy Love to Music ..." in Minsk, in the Upper City concert hall. In the summer of 2022, she was a guest artist at the closing of the international festival "Wreath of Friendship" (Belarus),where she presented her new single to the public.
